As a Coach

Mili offers tennis coaching to players of all ages and abilities in both group and individual lessons. Her students start as young as 4 years of age and her eldest clients are in their 70s. She has experience coaching players who are completely new to tennis all the way to those who compete and play at county, national and international level. Mili's coaching philosophy is to get the best out of her players and to help them improve in all areas (technically, physically, tactically and mentally) whilst having fun on court.

Tennis is and has always been a huge part of Mili's life and she loves to share her passion for the game with everyone.

As a Player

Mili started playing tennis in Kenya when she was ten years old and continues to play competitively. She moved to the US to attend university on a tennis scholarship and in 2000, her team won the USTA 5.0 National Championships at Flushing Meadows, New York.

Since moving to London in 2004, Mili has been a member of Ealing Lawn Tennis Club (ELTC) and plays for the club's 1st team. She has won the ELTC annual summer tournament multiple times in singles, doubles and mixed doubles. Her ELTC team was also crowned the UK W40 National Champions and the W35 European Champions in 2018.

Besides playing for the club, Mili also plays for the Middlesex W35 and W40 county teams, both of which were crowned National Champions in 2019 and 2021. She has also played for the winning England team in the Four Nations competition against Scotland, Wales and Ireland. For the past few years, Mili has been selected to play for Great Britain at the World Championships in Miami, Portugal and Turkey. One of her proudest moments on court has been winning the bronze medal for Team GB at the World Championships in Portugal in 2022.
